헝가리의 대평원을 배경으로 한 이야기. 어딜 보나 지평선뿐인 이곳에서 주민들은 띄엄띄엄 멀리 떨어져 살아간다. 기계문명의 혜택을 받지 못하고 살아온 이들은 이 마을을 벗어나고 싶다는 강한 욕망에 사로잡혀 있다. 이를 위해 그들은 다른 이들을 상대로 한 도둑질과 속임수의 환상 속에서 살아간다. 그러나 자신감이 부족한 그들은 이 초라한 해결책에도 동요하게 되고 결국 계획을 실행에 옮기지 못하고 만다. 사실 그들이 기다리는 것은 자신들을 이끌고 구원해줄 메시아, 지난 과오를 사면해 줄 구세주인 것이다.

마법세계에서 마법 해결 사무소를 운영하는 자매 ‘요요’와 ‘네네’. 어느 날 마법세계에 건물들이 붙어있는 커다란 나무가 나타난다. 요요는 나무 속의 건물들을 조사하다가 알 수 없는 마법진에 빨려 들어가며 인간세상에 도착하게 된다. 요요는 인간세상에서 사람들이 몬스터로 변하고 빌딩들이 사라지는 것을 목격하게 되는데! 부모님이 몬스터로 변해버린 소년 '다카'가 요요에게 이 사건을 의뢰하고, 이를 받아들인 요요는 마법세계로 돌아가 조사하려 하지만, 마력이 약해진 요요는 마법세계로 돌아갈 수 없다는 것을 깨닫는다. 결국 인간세상의 요요는 마법세계의 네네의 도움을 받아 사건을 해결하기로 한다. 한편 마법세계에 나타난 나무에는 인간세상에서 사라진 빌딩들이 계속 붙어만 가고 크기는 거대해진다. 마법세계의 지도자 '요네'는 이것이 마법세계에 대한 인간세상의 도전이라 여기고 전쟁을 선포한다. 대체 마법세계와 인간세상에 무슨 일이 일어나고 있는 것일까? 과연 마법해결사 요요와 네네는 의뢰 받은 사건을 해결하고 동시에 인간세상과 마법세계에서 벌어질 끔찍한 전쟁을 막아낼 수 있을까?

Adam Ondra has been considered the best climber in the history of climbing for several years now. Even though he is only 19. Despite the fact that he is studying at a demanding grammar school, he is maybe the most traveling and definitely the most watched climber of today. 겉으로는 평온해 보이는 공장. 하지만 저 깊은 수면 아래에서 노동자들은 파업을 준비하고 있다. 파업의 기미를 보고받은 경찰은 스파이를 보내 노동자들을 염탐하게 한다. 그러던 어느날 측미계가 없어지자 공장 측은 한 노동자에게 누명을 씌우게 되고, 그는 자신의 결백함을 보이기 위해 자살하고 만다. 이 사건을 계기로 노동자들의 분노는 폭발하고 마침내 파업이 시작된다. 노동자들은 자신의 요구사항을 공장주에게 말하지만 그들은 수용하지 않는다. 파업이 장기화됨에 따라 극심한 생활고로 노동자들의 가정에서는 불화가 잦아질 뿐 아니라 가재 도구를 내다 팔기도 한다. 또한 스파이들의 회유와 협박에 넘어간 어느 노동자가 지도자를 밀고하기에 이른다. 경찰은 파업을 해결하기 위해서 부랑자들을 시켜 노동자들을 선동해 어용 주점을 방화, 약탈하도록 한다. 그들의 계획적인 음모를 눈치챈 노동자들은 집으로 돌아가려 하지만, 경찰들의 수공으로 심한 타격을 받고 활동가들과 지도자들은 모두 체포된다. 이 사건으로 권력을 가진 자들은 더욱더 철저하게 노동자들을 탄압할 수 있도록 군의 파견을 결정하고 잔혹한 진압을 자행하는데...

첫번째 이야기: 검은 고양이를 애지중지 키우는 부인을 괴롭히기 위해 고양이를 잔혹하게 고문하고 그 사진을 찍어 사진집을 낸 남편. 그 사실을 알게 된 부인은 공포심을 느껴 달아나려 하지만 남편은 그런 그녀를 잔인하게 죽여 벽 속에 시체를 숨겨놓는다. 두번째 이야기: 제시카라는 젊은 아내가 의사인 정부에게 사주하여 남편의 재산을 가로채고 죽여버린다. 이에 원한을 품은 남편은 유령이 되어 복수를 시작한다.
