'The Accordion's Journey' narrates the story of three Colombian musicians. Year after year they participate in the world's largest competitive accordion festival, held in Valledupar, Colombia. But they never win. One day a letter arrives, inviting them to play alongside the legendary Hohner Accordion Orchestra in Trossingen, Germany, the birthplace of the 'Corona', Colombia's most popular accordion. It's the first time abroad for our three heroes and they discover a very different culture, a first encounter with snow and ice and make new friends. But will their adventure help them in winning the accordion festival back in Valledupar?

Through seven scenes, the film follows the life and destinies of stray dogs from the margins of our society, leading us to reconsider our attitude towards them. Through the seven “wandering” characters that we follow at different ages, from birth to old age, we witness their dignified struggle for survival. At the cemetery, in an abandoned factory, in an asylum, in a landfill, in places full of sorrow, our heroes search for love and togetherness. By combining documentary material, animation and acting interpretation of the thoughts of our heroes, we get to know lives between disappointment and hope, quite similar to ours.

The film is a sub-story to Kirikou and the Sorceress rather than a straight sequel. The movie is set while Kirikou is still a child and Karaba is still a sorceress. Like Princes et princesses and Les Contes de la nuit, it is an anthology film comprising several episodic stories, each of them describing Kirikou's interactions with a different animals. It is however unique among Michel Ocelot's films, not only in that it is co-directed by Bénédicte Galup (who has previously worked with him as an animator) but also for each of the stories being written by a different person (in all other cases, Ocelot has been the sole writer and director of his films).

거대한 식인 파이톤이 운송도중 사고로 트레일러를 빠져 나와 사냥꾼들을 모두 해치우는 사건이 발생한다. 이에 악명 높은 사냥꾼 이브와 브로드릭은 한 몫 잡으려는 목적으로 프로 헌터들로 구성된 팀을 구성하고 사냥에 나선다. 한편 FBI는 파이톤을 비밀리에 잡기 위해 뇌에 특수 장치를 장착한 베티라고 불리우는 거대한 실험용 뱀 보아를 이용하지만, 베티는 파이톤과 만나 짝짓기를 하여 알을 낳고 보호하려 한다. 하지만 알들이 사냥꾼들에게 파괴되고 파이톤에게 먹혀버리자 추적팀과 헌터들은 베티와 파이톤에게 산채로 먹히거나 죽임을 당하게 되는데.. 연출을 맡은 데이비드 플로레스 감독은 2000년 의 편집에 참여하면서 영화경력을 쌓기 시작했다. 2002년에는 비디오 시장에 폭발적인 센세이션을 일으킨 대형 뱀 와 의 편집자로 장편 영화 제작에 참여한 바 있다. 보아와 파이톤을 대결시키자는 제작자들의 드림 프로젝트는 2년의 기간을 가진 뒤 당시 두 영화를 모두 편집했던 데이비드 플로레스에게 주어진 것이다.
